  1. Hi there,

Hope you have found the new designs, all very girly and pretty for female birthdays. The red and black 'Birthday Girl' has been very popular already! A stylish and elegant card which can be personalised with an age number or name.

I am currently working on some specific cards for all you musicians/music teachers out there, so check back soon. Also some floral designs which can be used for any occasion or just to send a note. I tend to get a batch of ideas on one theme, which then leads onto another topic; the only trouble is producing them all! Obviously the first of each design always takes the longest as you have to try different options, edit as you go etc. Once the sample is ready, you can make subsequent copies in batches much more quickly.

If you like a particular design but would prefer it in a different colourway, please ask! For instance, the Magical Day card in Special Memories could be made in fuschia pink or turquoise as well as the two examples shown inthe Shop.

There were 2 messages left on the Guestbook a few days ago which appeared to come from the Crafty Sales website. Now I am sure that all you crafters out there wouldn't dream of leaving spam, but all I got was a load of gobbledegook, so if that was you, please leave your message again, or send an email via the Contact Us form.

Ok, off to bed and more cards tomorrow!

  2. A nocturnal 'Hello'!!

A Guestbook page is now available if you would like to leave a comment or request about anything on the website.

It has been a very busy week with A Level and GCSE Recitals, concert rehearsals and my birthday!!! It really was the first day of Spring, and we had a lovely walk by the Thames at Battersea and saw the wonderful Albert Bridge in all it's newly-painted glory. CW took some pics, so will have to nag him for the views to make a card.

The garden is in full swing now, with lovely anemone blanda in shades of purple and lilac, interspersed with the heads of hyacinths pushing up through the ground. The daffodils always seem to recover from the frost amazingly, as do the hellebores. I have some interesting self-sown seedlings this year with stripey pink and white petals. Have loads of plans for the website and can't wait for the holidays to get going on some new designs; had a scrummy delivery of new paper and card this morning!!!  It's always like Christmas when you unpack the box, and the colours and textures instantly suggest combinations for cards.

Am planning to run occasional tutorials on elements of design and colour theory if anyone is interested; it is a bit strange feeling that I am talking to myself, so do post a comment it you would be interested in how I go about designing cards for Noteworthy.
